“So I will consecrate the tent of meeting and the altar and will consecrate Aaron and his sons to serve me as priests. Then I will dwell among the Israelites and be their God. They will know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them out of Egypt so that I might dwell among them. I am the Lord their God.”
1. Read 28:1-5. What was the point of clothing Aaron with such beautiful garments? (Comp. Ro 13:14) What can we learn about the work of a mediator from the Ephod and the Breastpiece (6-30)? How does the priestly work point to Jesus? (1Ti 2:5,6; Heb 9:11-12)
2. Read 29. What are the processes of the consecration and its meaning (1-18)? What are the process of ordination and its meaning (19-34)? What daily offering should they make (35-43)? Why should the priests be consecrated and ordained? (1, 44-46)
3. Read 30. How do the priest consider the alter of incense (9-10)? How should the incense should be made (31-36)? What is the atonement money (11-16)? When should the priests should wash and why (17-21)? How should the anointing oil be made and used for (22-33)?
4. Read 31. How did God prepared people to do all work for the tabernacles and its furnishings (1-11)? Why did God mention the Sabbath law again (12-17)? What did God give Moses (18)?
