2. Read 3:7-10. What motivated God to act on behalf of His people? What plan did he have in mind? What did God tell Moses to do? Why do you think God chose someone like Moses for such a daring venture?

3. Read 3:11-17. What was Moses’ initial response to God’s challenge? How did God reassure Moses that he could face this challenge? What did God want Moses to say to the elders of Israel? What was the significance of this announcement?

4. Read 3:18-22. What did God predict about the responses of the elders of Israel and the Egyptians? What assurance did God give Moses?
